It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard (Ric) Bever on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the age of 84 with his beloved twin brother Robert (Bob) by his side (as always).
Ric grew up in New Prague, MN and graduated from St. John’s University and worked at American Family Insurance for many years – lastly as an Arson Investigator. Along with his twin brother Bob, enjoyed early retirement and spent much time on their hobby farm in Pine City (near their grandparents farm, and other relatives farms), as well as lots of time entertaining their nieces and creating lasting memories. Ric had an amazing smile and was the king of eye rolls and will be sadly missed.
Ric is survived by his twin brother Robert; aunt Carolyn Kazda; sister-in-law Mary Lou Bever; nieces Sue (Gary), Mary Lou (Dick), Lisa (Steve), Jaci (Bob) and Tina (Jerry); 5 great-nieces/nephews; 5 great-great-nieces/nephews; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Nicholas H. and Mary Bever; brother Nicholas Bever; sister Mary Lou (Jack) Marschall; many aunts and uncles.
