He had been a Sebring, Florida resident since 2011. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Vivian Marie. He is survived by a daughter, Dawn Roebuck of Plainwell; 2 grandchildren, Jason Thomas of Detroit, Morgan Thomas of Kalamazoo; twin sisters, Joan Mallory of Kalamazoo and Jean (Eugene) Riggs of Battle Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
