Richard P. Baker, age 85, of Mt. Clare, WV passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family by his side. He was born June 10, 1929 in Buckhannon, WV; the son of the late Arthur W. Baker and Carrie Irene (Bailey) Baker.

Richard is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara Christine (Conley) Baker; three daughters, Linda (Arlis) Marsh, Pamela Murphy and Cheryl (Bryan) Carlin; brother, James (Barbara) Baker of Flemington; two sisters, Sarah Boles of Monrovia, MD and Ann Courtney of Nashville, TN; five grandchildren, Joel Barnosky, Richard and Donald Marsh and Eric and Kristen Cutright; great grandson, Derek Campbell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Kenneth S. Baker.

Richard was a US Army Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Meuse Argonne, VFW Post #573 and the National Rifle Association. Richard was protestant by faith. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors.

Richard was a retired plumber/pipefitter with the local 152 in Morgantown, WV. He also was self-employed for Baker contracting.
