Richard Neal Wissler passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2023. He was born in Richmond, Indiana on June 1, 1944, to Ralph and Marjorie Long Wissler. Neal graduated from Richmond High School in 1963. After graduation, he proudly served in the United States Air Force. Neal was then employed at The Graphic in Richmond. He later moved to Terre Haute where he worked at Ivy Hill, retiring in 2006.
Neal is survived by his beloved companion, Julie Dougherty, son Randy Wissler, daughter Ann Shultz (Kevin), grandchildren Kaelynn Shultz, Jacque Jennings, and Kyler Shultz; great grandchild Colton Jennings, brother Keith Wissler (Shelly), sister Diane Effing, three nephews and two nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Ron Effing, and nephew Jeremy Effing.
