Life member of the University of Michigan Alumni Association. Former referee with the Michigan High School and Michigan Amateur Hockey Associations. Dick, the grandson of John and Victoria (Sevenski) Scheffler and David and Almyra (Laura) Rushlow, is also survived by many cousins, as well as his aunts and uncle Bud and Pat Ennis, and Charlotte (the late Norman) Scheffler.
