Richard N. Densmore, 81 of Mackin St, Grafton, passed away Friday, February 5, 2010, at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, Clarksburg WV. He was born in Parkview on June 19, 1928, the son of the late Frederick F. and Mary Ottis Duckworth Densmore. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Kate “Diddy” Coole Densmore, May 22, 2001; two brothers; Frederick Densmore and Elam Joseph Densmore. He was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church and the American Legion Post 12 of Grafton. Richard ran his own business, Pitzer and Densmore Plumbing for many years. He loved hunting and fishing. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II Richard is survived by one son, Neil Densmore and wife Nancy of Grafton; two daughters, Denise Braham of Independence and Mary Frances Densmore of Grafton; five grandchildren; Jody McCartney and wife Lisa of Marquess, Jason Braham of Independence, Sandy Braham of Independence, Timothy Densmore of Fairmont, Leela Densmore, of Grafton; three great grandchildren, Madusta McCartney, Dakota McCartney and J.D. Braham; one brother, Bernard Densmore of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
