Richard N. “Dick” Beitman, 76, of Fishers, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Community Hospital North.
He was born April 10, 1942 in Ft. Wayne, IN. Dick was a self-employed upholsterer.
He enjoyed golf and hunting, but his favorite hobby was fishing. He was a member of the B.A.S.S. Federation and had won numerous tournaments at Geist Reservoir.
Dick is survived by wife Jeri (Hess) Beitman, whom he married August 26, 1977, daughter: Janell (Ted) Lenahan of Fishers; sons: Richard N. (Karen) Beitman, Jr. of Pendleton; Steven “Doc” Beitman of Fortville; grandchildren: Austin Miernyk and Alexandra Beitman.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Bertus (Johnson) Beitman, father: Delbert Leininger; step-father: Floyd “Bud” Beitman; brother: James Steven Leininger and granddaughter: Eliana Beitman.
