Richard Merrill Hunt, 81, husband of Frances (Tenney) Hunt of Forestville, passed away at his home on Sunday November 22, 2009.
Richard was born on September 14, 1928 in East Corinth, VT a son of the late Jesse Merrill and Hazel (Newton) Hunt.
Mr. Hunt was a toolmaker for both Ingraham and New Departure, retiring from the latter. He loved bowling and playing cards and especially his daily ritual of playing scratch off cards and doing the crossword puzzles with his wife.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian Hunt of Burlington and C. Richard Hunt and his wife Lynda of Newington; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Beattie and her husband Chris of Bristol, Matthew Hunt of Bristol and Emily Hunt of Unionville; his sister and brother-in-law Sandra and Ronald Trothier of Titusville, FL and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Arlene Schilling.
