Richard Marshall Hunter, 75, of New Palestine, IN passed away November 8, 2020. He was born in Beech Grove, IN, a son of the late Charlotte V. (Grogg) and Robert V. Hunter. Survivors include his wife, Diane Hunter; sons, Mike (Wendy) Hunter, Doug (Amy) Hunter; sister-in-law, Gerri Hunter; nephews, Denny Hunter, Steve Hunter; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, M.T. and Zela Hunter; brothers, Denny Hunter, Robert Hunter; niece, Pam Hunter.
Richard served in the United States Marine Corp. He also enjoyed racing. Richard was well known for his grumpy demeanor and sharp wit. He lived a full life on his terms. He was awarded with a loving family and friends, and “a few enemies.” He was an acquired taste.
