Richard M. Clark
Richard Marion Clark of Greenbrier, near Salem, went to be with the Lord on May 21, 2010 at United Hospital Center. He was the son of the late Okey and Clara Sadler Clark and was born at Greenbrier on July, 5, 1934 at the same location at which he and his wonderful wife of 54 years, Rosalie Underwood Clark, resided.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by their children, James M. Clark and wife Sonya of Glenville, Rodney L. Clark and wife Crystal, Robert “Bob” Clark and friend, Janet Wolford; William “Bruce” Clark and wife Missy all of Salem area, and a daughter, Janet R. Tinsley and her husband Ed, of Richmond, VA.
Also ten loving grandchildren, Jennifer and husband Damon Kephart, James M. Clark, Jr. and wife Nicole, Rodney L. Clark, Jr. , David E. Clark, Emma Rose Clark, Brian K. Dixon, Matthew J. Dixon, William”Andrew” Clark, Sarah L. Clark, Elizabeth and husband Justin Hickman; and great-grandchildren Alyssa, Alex, Cory, and Liam Kephard. Also surviving is one sister, Joan Prim and her husband of Chicago, IL.
Richard graduated from Doddridge HS in 1952 and served in the U. S. Air Force for 4 years.
