Richard Mitchell Treco, Age 97, longtime resident of Fairfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday April 22, 2018. Richard was born on April 10, 1921 in Dorchester, MA to Rhea (Dodds) Treco and Richard Mitchell Treco Sr. and was the eldest of 5 children including Lorraine, Ruth, Rosalie, and Roberta. Richard graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelors of Science in Engineering (Metallurgy) and then went on to work for the U.S. Government during WWII, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Bridgeport Brass Company, Olin and American Can Company.
