Those We Love Remain with us, for love itself lives on, and cherished moments Never Fade because a loved one’s gone; those we love can never be more than a thought apart; for as long as there is memory, they’ll live on in the heart. Richard Lynn Young was born on March 29, 1967, in Joliet, Illinois to his parents Willie White and Barbara Ann Gilmore. He was the first born in the family. He was raised surrounded by his brothers, John and James, and his sisters, Tammy, and Sonia. As a child, being the older sibling, he helped cook and care for his younger brothers and sisters. Richard move to Denver, Colorado with his family, when he was 9 years old. This is where he received his formal education and became the kind-hearted man we all know today. Richard loved the outdoors from a very early age, he was always willing to go the extra mile for his family and his friends. Richard enjoyed life and those he encircled. In his free time his greatest joy was dancing and rapping as well as being with his mom and his Aunt Brenda. Later, Richard’s family grew, and he was blessed to be the big brother of John Young, James White, Ogan Defreeze, Lydell Kent, Malik King, Tammy Kent, Sonia White, Teresa Mosley, Leona White, and Vivian Young. His siblings blessed him with three nephews, Tommy White, Trevon White, Capone Turner; and five nieces, Nyshia White, Latandra White, Jajeela White, Jaquiel White, and Diamond Turner.
