Richard L. Fox, 81, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away on February 6, 2021.
Richard was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts to the late Benjamin and Shirley Fox. He has been a resident of Florida for the past 15 years moving from Newington, Connecticut. Prior to retirement, Richard worked as a USDA Federal Inspector Specialist. He was a proud Army veteran that served in the Veterinary Corps while in service. Richard received degrees from North Texas State University, Ohio State University, and Goddard College.
Richard loved fishing, coin collecting, digging for bottles, gardening, and playing the piano. In his younger years, he coached his son’s basketball and baseball teams, and his daughter’s softball teams.
Richard was the beloved husband of Irma Moiger Fox for the past 58 years; loving father of James (Maryellen), Ronald (Patricia), Rand, and Pamela Fox; adored grandfather of Brett, Haley, Lindsay, William, and Noah.
