Richard Lee “Rich” Stacy, 67, entered the Lord’s heavenly kingdom on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Harlingen Medical Center.Richard was born on April 9, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio to Robert Eugene Stacy & Elizabeth Hunt (Parkinson). He served in the United States Army, United States Marines, and was a paratrooper of the 82nd Airborne Division. Rich owned & operated his own trucking company, RLS Trucking.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Eugene Stacy; stepfather, Frank Hunt; and uncle; Dick Stacy.
Richard is survived by his loving family to cherish his beautiful memory, his loving & devoted wife of 30 years & 9 months, Ida R. Stacy; children, Lisa Stacy, Carl Stacy, & Miguel Esteban Guajardo; grandchildren, Gregory, Breeana, Christopher, & Nathaniel Stacy; Cade Alexander Wieberish, Evan Miguel Guajardo, & Alyse Guajardo; mother, Elizabeth Hunt; sister, Linda Stacy Smelser; brother, Bill Stacy; stepsister, Hollie Yoder; one great grandson, and several nephews.
