Richard Lee Shockey, beloved husband, father, son and friend, passed away February 22, 2020 due to complications of surgery.
Dick was born in Weston, West Virginia to parents Sherman Harold Shockey and Anna May Christopher both deceased. Dick is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kathy (Chaney). He is also survived by his three Children, Richard Mario Shockey (Kim), Christophe Lee Shockey (Dawn), Tammy Marshall (Clint). Grand-children and great grand children. All were deeply loved by Dick.
Dick spent his 21 year Air force career as an air traffic controller. Dick received the Bronze Star. After he retired from the Air Force he continued as an air traffic controller in the private sector.
He loved Golfing with his friends and going to the gym. Spending evenings out to dinner with his wife, Kathy and their many friends was a favorite past time for Dick.
Richard L. Shockey will be missed terribly by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
