Richard Lee Frye, 58 of Kirby Street, Grafton passed away, Saturday, June 18, 2011 at his residence with family by his side. He was born in Connecticut, October 31, 1952, son of the late Raymond Franklin and Edna Mae McIntyre Frye. Surviving is his wife, Diane L Hawkins Frye whom he married, May 5, 1972; two sons, John L Frye and wife Heather, Philippi, Jimmy L Frye and wife Ashley, Fairmont; one daughter, Diana “Sissy” Frye, Grafton; eight grandchildren, Joshua Richman, Olivia Frye, Sarina Frye, Isaiah Frye, Micah Frye, Silas Frye, Josiah Frye and Nehemiah Frye; one brother, Fred Frye and wife Edie of Clarksburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Francis R Elkie. Richard graduated from High School in Clarksburg and joined the United States Army. He was a Union Electrician with the IBEW Local Union 596. Richard was a life member of Anmoore EMS and was a volunteer member and driver with the Taylor County EMS. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, outdoors, tinkering and working on anything he could fix.
