Grandchildren Chris Brown (Jessica), Courtney Brown, Mathew Lange (Johanna), Sarah Weaver (Evan), Benjamin Lange (Lily), Taylor Ford (Mandi), Carly Ford, Aubrey Golden (Adam), Katrina Lambert (Ronald), Elizabeth McKibben (Joseph); nine great grandchildren and his brother James Lange (Marjorie), his sister Catherine Strum and numerous nieces and nephews.
Major Lange was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years Eleanor Lange, his parents, E.O. and Clara Lange, and his brothers Thomas and Edward Lange,
