Richard Lee Williamson, 68, of Salem, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018. He was born June 6, 1950, in Centralia, the son of Thomas Williamson and Adelaide (Wiehe) Williamson.
He is survived by a daughter: Kassandra K. Smith and husband Martin of Salem; three grandchildren: Micheala Hurd and husband Edward, Alexis Coleman and Jordan Smith all of Salem; 2 great-granddaughters: Makynzi Hurd and Mattilynn Hurd both of Salem; a brother: James “Jim” Williamson; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his four-legged companion: Bear, three brothers: Thomas Williamson, Jr., Jerry Williamson, and Gene Williamson, and two sisters: Margaret Robinett and Mary Lou Bone. Richard served in the U.S. Navy. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends.
