Richard Leroy Sarver, 97, of Greensburg, sadly passed away at home on Saturday, August 6, 2022. He was born September 9, 1924 a son of the late Archie and Edna (Shuey) Sarver. Richard was a lifetime member of Salem Lutheran Church in Delmont. He graduated from Greensburg Salem High School. Richard attended several dairy classes and seminars relating to farming and was a member of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau. Richard had to take over operation of the Dairy Farm when he was a senior in high school due to sickness in the family. He worked long hours and also performed customer work for several other farmers. He enjoyed taking trips to Canada, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, several other states and train rides in Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Marion (Pete) Sarver and Homer Sarver.
He is survived by his companion, best buddy, and caregiver, Joanne Miller; other family members, Richard and Kristen Miller, Judy and Jason Cody, Alexis and Brynn Miller, Riley Anchors, Mackenzie and Cameron Shaffer plus several other relatives.
