Richard Leroy Morris, 77, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019, at his home in Newnan surrounded by his loving wife and daughters. Dick was born August 15, 1941, in Mercer, PA to the late Donald Morris & Bertha Holaus Morris.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberlee Morris, and sister, Donna Moore. Dick and Beverly lived in Mentor, Ohio for 37 years prior to moving to Newnan, Ga. During his time as Mentor, he was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption and St. Bede the Venerable Parishes. He was a member of Mentor Athletic Boosters and St. Mary’s Men’s Club. Dick worked at the Lincoln Electric Company for 41 years. In 2000, Dick and Bev moved to Newnan, GA, and immediately felt right at home. Dick finished his working years at a Lincoln Electric Distribution Center. Upon his retirement, he became a full-time amateur golfer and bridge player, and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with friends at White Oak Golf Club. He was a member of St. George Catholic Church and St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.
