Richard K. “Dick” Williams, 97, formerly of Anderson, passed away November 7, 2011 at Toledo Hospital-Toledo, Ohio. He was born June 28, 1914 in Jasonville, Indiana, and resided in Temperance, Michigan.

Dick was a graduate of Purdue University, moving to Anderson in 1937. He moved to Michigan in 2006 to be near family. He served his country in the 9th Air Force during WWII.

Dick was a manager at Delco Remy Division of General Motors and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Norma Jean Wells Perkins Williams; children, Rick Williams Alice of Los Angeles, California, Tom Williams Kay of Temperance, Michigan, Jerry Williams Royce of Marysville, Michigan and Pam Perkins Popejoy of Canton, Michigan; 15 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Puckett Williams; two sisters; one brother; and parents, Richard & Blanche Bailey Williams.
