Richard Keith “Ricky” Chapin, 37, died July 4, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center. Born on June 22, 1978 in Springfield, he was a lifelong area resident. Ricky worked as a machinist for Duc Pac Corp in East Longmeadow. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Red Sox, 49er’s and Bruins. Ricky was a devoted father to his children, especially his daughter and best friend, Kateryna.
