WOLFE, Richard John, Of Mattawan, MI. Rick passed away Wednesday September 16, 2009 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. He was born January 2, 1954, in Kalamazoo, the son of Kenneth and Elizabeth Harden Wolfe and has been a lifelong area resident. For over 30 years he has been employed with Kalamazoo Regional Psychiatric Hospital. Rick was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and boating.
He is a retired Kalamazoo County Sheriff Department Marine Division Reserve officer. Surviving are his son, Joshua Wolfe of Kalamazoo; his mother, Elizabeth Wolfe of Kalamazoo; two brothers, James Jane Wolfe of Richland and Daniel Sue Wolfe of Kalamazoo; nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Wolfe and brother, Stephen Wolfe.
