Richard James Holbrook of Fruita, Colorado passed away peacefully at home on 20 April, 2015 after an extended illness. He retired to this area in 1993 after a successful career as an aerospace engineer in the LA area. Richard was born May 5, 1938 to James Leonard Holbrook and Christine Olive Brown in Augusta, Maine. He graduated from Colby College and moved to California where he met his wife, Marco Stohl. They married September 6, 1963 and were later sealed for time and eternity in the Vernal Utah Temple. He will be missed by his loving wife of 51 years, and their 4 children: Christian (Lisa) Holbrook, Conrad (Teresa) Holbrook, Heather (Bruce) Holbrook Jensen, Laura (Gary) Henrie, as well as his 2 brothers, William and Robert, and his sister, Nancy, along with their spouses. He leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild who will miss their Grandpa. He will be remembered for his strength in adversity, his great knowledge, and wit.
