Richard James Grauel
The son of Stephen L. Grauel and Mardell Louise Grauel, Richard was born on December 30, 1968 in Kankakee, Illinois and passed away on November 21, 2021 at his Ardmore, Oklahoma residence at the age of 52 years, 10 months and 21 days.
Richard grew up in the Dickson area and graduated from Dickson High School. Richard served his country in the Unites States Navy and received the National Defense Service Medal and a Honorable Discharge. He had worked as a truck driver with Dollar General, Modern and 1845. Richard enjoyed listening to rock music and was an avid OU Football fan. He was big in electronics and he was considered a “gamer”.
Richard is survived by his wife: Mercedita of the home; sons, Scottie Grauel and Acea Grauel; father, Stephen Grauel and wife Sondra; mother, Mardell Louise Grauel; by heart adoption; Kortney Eads and fiance’ Billy Miller and Dallas Fisher; granddaughter, Emerie Kate Miller; brother, Steven Grauel; sister, Beth Whittington and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by first wife, Connie Grauel.
