Richard J. Weigel, 72, of Long Pond, PA, formerly of New Jersey, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Pleasant Valley Manor, Stroudsburg, PA. Born in Hoboken, NJ, he grew up in West New York, NJ and lived in Ridgewood, NJ and Paramus, NJ before moving to Long Pond 8 years ago.
Richard was an Electrician member of the IBEW Local 164, Paramus, NJ. He was predeceased by his wife, Charlene, in 2007. Richard is survived by his 4 siblings and their spouses, Carolyn & Fred Schlager of Treasure Island, FL, William “Bill” F. & Maria Weigel of Toms River, Thomas Weigel of Bethlehem, PA and Patricia Weigel & Judy McCormack of Leland, NC. and several nieces and nephews.
