Richard J. Miles, age 80, Logansport, passed away at 11:15 a.m., on Friday, December 13, 2019, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Logansport.
Richard was a native of Monticello and longtime Logansport resident.
He leaves behind his partner and love of 38 years, Lynne Martin, two beloved stepdaughters, Loryn Martin (Bruce) Wrucke and Kristin Martin (Rob) McCormick, and a son, Greg Miles.
His parents were Ernest T. “Bud” Miles and Icylle “Jeanne” Watkins Krieg.
Richard was a 1957 graduate of Roosevelt High School in Monticello, a 1962 graduate of Indiana University with a BA in Philosophy, and he attended a PhD program at the University of North Carolina.
He worked in Quality Assurance for many years, retiring from Saputo in Peru. Richard was a talented painter, producing many beautiful pastel paintings.
