Richard J. Cyrgalis, Jr. of Port Saint Lucie, Florida and formerly of Kearny, New Jersey,
passed away on March 4, 2022, aged 44. He is the beloved son of Richard and
Theresa Cyrgalis, beloved brother of Patrick Cyrgalis and his wife Desiree, uncle to Ella
Cyrgalis and Mac Cyrgalis, his ex-wife and friend Randi Cyrgalis, the mother of his
eldest daughter, Rachel Cyrgalis, and her son, his Grandson, Carter D. James. Father
of Emma Rose Cyrgalis and dear friend of her mother Regina Marvel. He also leaves
behind his youngest daughter, Addison Reid.
He was the beloved nephew of his aunts and uncles, Jacqueline Hanlon, Veronica and
Thomas Manfredi, Margaret and Joseph Gagliardo, Shelley Cyrgalis, Mary and John
Carey, and Larry Sansone.
He is also survived by several cousins, Nicholas Manfredi and Claudia Leopoldino,
Debra Manfredi, Ashley Sansone, Brittany Sansone and her fiancé Frank Taras, Kristen
Vindics, and Rebecca Carey and John Carey.
He loved sports, especially baseball, in which he excelled as a young man. He also
loved basketball and football. What he enjoyed most as a past time was fishing from
the piers, docks and from the beach. He was happiest with a fishing rod in his hand,
looking into the beautiful waters,and seeing the sunset over the water. He had a great
sense of humor and was a charming young man. He inherited that British wit from his
grandfather. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Thomas and Veronica Hanlon
and Joan and Robert Walbroel and Richard C. Cyrgalis.
