Richard H. “Dick” Hoban, age 82, of RR 3, Wickwire Community, Grafton, passed away, Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Rosewood Center, Grafton. He was born in Grafton September 4, 1927, a son of the late Joseph H. and Hattie (Shroyer) Hoban. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Peggy (Kiger) Hoban. Dick was a retired clerk for the B&O Railroad. He was a WWII veteran, having served in the US Airforce. Surviving are: one daughter, Jonnett Bragg and husband Bob, of Rivesville, WV; one son, Richard P. Hoban, of Grafton and his former wife Judi Russell, of Clarksburg; six grandchildren, Jason Bragg, of Rivesville, Shannon Mercer and Doug Mercer, both of Wadestown; Rhiannon Hoban, of Clarksburg, Tristan Hoban and Jordan Hoban, both of Grafton; three great grandchildren, Drew Mercer and Cameron Mercer, of Wadestown, and Shea Davis, of Clarksburg. In addition to his parents and former wife he was also preceded in death by one brother, John Hoban.
