Richard H. Harrison, age 81, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away surrounded by his loving family on August 30, 2017 in Greenwood, Indiana.
Richard was born on March 28, 1936 to Harvey and Margaret (Moore) Harrison in Pine Lawn, Missouri.
Richard worked 43 years for Otis Elevator Company. He enjoyed wood working, the outdoors, and Richard had a love for clocks. He enjoyed laughing so much, never met a stranger and would strike up a conversation with anyone, bringing a smile to their face. Most of all, he loved his family dearly.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marian (Frericks) Harrison, daughter Christina James (Dan) of Greenwood, Dan’s sisters Debbie and Joni, four grandchildren Brandon and Josh Sims, Conner and Jacob James, sister Sue Squires (Ron) of Missouri, brother Pat Harrison (Barb) of Missouri, sister-in-law Carol Frericks of Missouri, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
