Richard H. Dale, age 88, of Salem, formerly of Struthers, passed away Sunday morning May 18, 2014, at the Salem Regional Medical Center. He was born October 3, 1925 in Poland, Ohio, son of the late L. Porter and Mary (Gibson) Dale. He graduated from Poland High School and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII at the Battle for Okinawa. Upon returning to the states, he was honorably discharged.
