Richard Gregory Needham, Sr., age 52, of the Bullhead Clan and Bemidji, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly in Bemidji, MN. He was born to Douglas “Pugs” and Helen “Muggs” (King) Needham on June 24, 1965 in Santa Monica, California.

Rick loved his family and strived to let them know how often he thought about them. He preferred to work outdoors and could often be found in paint covered jeans smiling after a long day. Rick was always ready to have a hearty laugh with friends and family. He would always be the one to smile first and tell a good joke. Gentle and full of love, he always had a warm hug for his family, asking each of them if they were okay. Rick was a good friend to many, a very hard worker, a skilled man and a friend to Peoples Church. He did seasonal work for the White Pines Resort in Bemidji for many years. Before starting with the resort in Bemidji, Rick lived and worked in Brainerd, MN and did a variety of maintenance work for many people and companies. His youthful soul, genuine laughter and kind heart will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family that Richard is reunited with are his parents; Douglas and Helen Needham, brother; Douglas Needham, Sr., nephew; Douglas Needham, Jr., grandparents, and several aunties and uncles.

Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his children; Jessica (Adam) Stange and Ricky “Bubba” Williams both of Brainerd, brothers; Robert (Missy) Needham, Sr. of Redby and James (Tharen) Needham of Red Lake, grandson; Bentley Stange, aunties; Darlene “Wooda” Needham and Agnes King, uncles; James King, Sr. and George King, nieces; Emma Needham, Lacey Needham, Lisa Carter, Julieanne Cook and Sachene Needham, nephews; David Needham, Jordan Neadeau and Robert “RJ” Needham, Jr. and many other relatives and friends.
