Richard G. Pender
Wolcott – Richard G. Pender, 77 entered eternity on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Mr. Pender was born the son of the late Thomas and Stephanie (Metzler) Pender on Sunday, October 6, 1935 in Rochester, NY. He retired from the town of Butler where he worked in the maintenance department. Playing euchre, hunting, fishing and collecting coins were things Mr. Pender enjoyed in his spare time.
Mr. Pender will be remembered by his son Thomas (April) Pender of N. Rose; daughter Marie (Patrick) Ryan of Wolcott; grandchildren Peggy Pender and her fiancé© Angelo Pellicano of Savannah, Samantha Pender and her fiancé© Clinton R. Coon of Shortsville, Kayleigh Ryan and her fiancé© Will Wells of Wolcott, Anthony Pender of N. Rose, Marissa Ryan and Shawn Ryan both of Wolcott; two great grandsons and two great granddaughters; brother Frank (Maryellen) Pender of Penfield; sisters Shirley (Ted) Nersinger of Penfield, Janice (Gene) Rooker and Sharon (Tom) Snyder both of Port Byron; many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pender was predeceased by his wife Catherine (Taylor) Pender in 1994; brothers Tom, Harry and Robert.
