Richard J. “Fuzz” Fandetta died Thursday April 10, 2014 at the Samaritan Hospice and Healthcare Inpatient Unit, Mt. Holly at the age of 82. Mr. Fandetta was born in Burlington and remained a lifelong resident until moving to Medford to live with his daughter.
He was employed as an ironworker with Local 68 in Trenton until his retirement. Fuzz was a member of the Roma Club in Burlington and enjoyed horseracing, trips to Atlantic City, golfing and playing cards, especially pinochle. He was predeceased by his siblings; Dominic, Lucy, Lil, Joseph and Eleanor. He is survived by his daughters Michelle (Gregory) Pierce, Gina (Andrew) Sangataldo, and Andrea Fandetta, his grandchildren; Nicholas, Victoria, Maria, Christopher and Vincent and his former wife and friend Dee Fandetta.
