Richard Firks, 58, of Ft. Wayne, passed away peacefully at Lutheran Hospital on Mon. April 16, 2012 with his family by his side. Tony was a 23 year employee of the city of Ft. Wayne Street Dept., and was the property manager for Freuhauf park for 5 years.
He was and avid Cubs fan, and enjoyed fishing, golf, and cooking for his family.He lived his life to the fullest. Surviving are his brother Michael (Gail) Firks, sisters Karen (Steve) Firks-Eshcoff and Diane Martz, his nieces and nephews Toni Marie, Stacy, Damion, Patricia, Cari Ann, and Andrew; many great-nieces and nephews.
Tony will now join his parents Violet and Richard Firks, nephew Lee Alan, and his two best friends Lester Vance and Ron Miller in eternal peace.
