Richard F. Snyder, Sr, age 70 died Sunday January 20, 2013 at his residence in Burlington City. Mr. Snyder was born in Trenton and was a longtime resident of Burlington. He was employed as a field operator for Occidental Chemical Co. in Burlington Twp. for 34 years until his retirement. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of several bowling leagues. He liked sports, particularly the Boston Celtics, Atlanta Braves and the Miami Dolphins. He also enjoyed taking trips to the casino.
While he enjoyed all of these activities, his true love was his family. He is survived by his loving wife Mary (nee Carcus), his children Richard F. Snyder Jr. (Nicole), Bonnie Bowen (Mike, Sr.) and Christopher Snyder (Heather Matthews), his grandchildren Richard, III, Cory, Jillian, Jacob, Jordyn, and Juliet Snyder, Michael, Jr., Kristen, Jennifer, and Emily Bowen and Christopher Snyder, Jr., his great grandchildren Sophie Bowen and Aliyah Jones.
He is also survived by his sister Barbara Fell, his sisters in law and brother in law Cathy and George and Joanne, nieces and nephew Lisa, Billie Jo and Shannon, Amy and Sara and great nephews Daniel and Adam and his beloved pet dog Zoey.
