Richard “Dick” Perdue, age 88, died of natural causes on February 1, 2016 in Destin, FL.
Dick is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Patricia; his sister, Virginia Svestka; sons, Bob Perdue (Irina) and Ray Perdue (Evelyn); daughter, Lori Townsend (James); 9 Grandchildren, Christopher Perdue, Michael Perdue, Daniel Perdue, Carrie Niederhauser (Brian), Dustin Perdue and Destinee Hodges (Trey); 9 Great Grandchildren, Coltin, Carley, Braxton, Teagan, Laila, Reid, Marina, Harper, and Elise. He is preceded in death by his son, Chris Perdue, 2 brothers, Bob and Edward Perdue and sister, June Munson.
Dick was born on April 5, 1927 in Mansfield, OH to parents Edward and Elsie Perdue. He enlisted in the Navy during World War II. After 2 years he enlisted in the Army Air Corp where he served an additional 28 years and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant.
Dick was a great family man and a loving father and will be missed by all that knew him. He married the love of his life Patricia in 1950 and the couple had 4 children.
