Richard Earl Simons, Sr., 69, of Hanover, PA, died Friday, January 8, 2016 at Hanover Hospital. Born November 14, 1946 in Monkton, Maryland, he was the son of the late Pauline E. Little Simons and Lonnie Mack Simons. Survived by his wife of 22 years, Robin Simons.
Before retiring he worked as a truck driver for Weaver and Sons and also worked as an equipment operator for CJ Miller. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Besides his wife, he is survived by children Richard Earl Simons, Jr. and wife Donna of Spring Grove, PA, Jeremy Simons and wife Kellie of Finksburg, Heidi Simons and Jacob Simons, both of Hanover, PA, grandchildren Bradley, Mikey, Ryan, Makayla and Peyton Simons, brothers George, Ronald “Ducky”, Roger and Glen Simons.
He was predeceased by brothers Roy, Robert “Bobby”, Edward “Mackie” and William “Billy” Simons and a sister Nancy Little.
