Richard E. Dorn of Boise, Idaho passed away on June 29, 2015.
Part of Richard’s legacy will be the many people he encountered. There was not a person who he would not talk to. He lived the neighbor part of neighborhood. Another part of his legacy is the family cabin he helped build with his father. His interests varied, but his love of bowling he valued the most. Every Sunday night he and his life-long friend, Debbie Holznagel and her brothers would bowl in a league. Richard was a fan of Boise State Broncos and thanks to his cousins in Iowa, the Hawkeyes. He was also very interested in his genealogy. He worked at various businesses including Albertsons where he worked for 12 years.
Richard is survived by his father Darrell, brother Kurt, nephews Aaron Dorn (Seattle) and Trevor Dorn (Boise), aunts and uncles Robert and Lois Hanson, Donald and Donna Dorn, Larry and Phyllis Dorn, Dorothy Ward and many cousins. He is preceded by his mother, Patricia Dorn, sister Debra Dorn, brother Gregg Dorn, uncles Robert Dorn, Robert Pitt, Kenneth Dorn, Les Ward, Grant Hunter and aunts, Madeline Pitt, and Thelma Hunter.
