Earl David, 80, of Washington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 27, 2021, after a nearly three-year battle with brain cancer. He was born on May 28, 1941, in Carthage, IL, to James E. and Ruth F. (Crow) David. He married Janice Poehlman on July 29, 1967, in Washington.
Surviving is his wife along with one son Charles (Pam Logue) David of Decatur, IL, one brother, Robert (Janisanne) David, and one sister, Frances Galle. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roger David, and brother-in-law Edward Galle.
Earl graduated from Hamilton High School, Class of 59, and Western Illinois University. Following college, he served in the Iowa and Illinois Army National Guard. He worked in accounting and auditing throughout his career, last working at Aggregate Equipment in East Peoria, IL.
