Richard E. Lange, 85, of Newington, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at home. He was the husband of the late Lois (Jehning) Lange. Born in New Britain, son of the late Charles and Lillian (Smith) Lange, he was a Newington resident for over 50 years. Richard retired from the Town of Newington after 30 years of employment. He enjoyed fishing and taking trips to the casino. A loving and devoted father and grandfather, he leaves his daughter Jeannette Lange of Newington, his two granddaughters, Shelly Osorio and Dawn Carrier and great grandson Gabriel Osorio. He also leaves nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Darlene Carrier.
