Richard E Cline, 63, of Greensburg, passed away April 1, 2012 at the Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.
Born in Indianapolis on July 19, 1948 to Charles W. Cline and Ella Mae (Bruton) Cline, he spent most of his childhood at the Indiana Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Children’s Home in Knightstown, IN, graduating in 1966. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam 1967-68 as a K-9 handler. Most recently he worked at NTN-BCA in Greensburg for 15 years. He received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in 2005. He was a member of the Greensburg American Legion Post 129 and of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Greensburg Aerie 927.
He is preceded in death by both parents; step-father Leroy Anderson of Greensburg; sister Grace “Lee” Vaughn of Knightstown; brother Charles Cline of Lapel.
Richard is survived by his son Jason Cline of Greenfield; daughters Emily Cline-Holcomb of Columbus and Valerie Rosalino of Greenfield; step-children Todd and Keith McReynolds and Kim Powers of Greensburg; brother James Cline of Fountain City; uncle James Bruton of Indianapolis; Debbie Cline of Greensburg; 17 grandchildren; and dozens of beloved family and friends.
