Richard C. Dwinell, age 78, passed away peacefully in his home on February 16, 2013, in Destin, Florida.
Dick was born August 12, 1934, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Richard and Frances Dwinell. Dick graduated from Saint Joseph’s College, Rensselaer, Indiana, in 1956. Dick enlisted in the U.S. Army, and was stationed in Wurzburg, Germany. In Germany, Dick met his loving wife, of 54 years, Lilo Reiss. Dick was blessed by the births of his three children, Michele, Richard, and Janelle. Dick retired from Atlantic Mutual Insurance Company as a Regional Vice President, after over 30 years. Dick and Lilo retired to Destin, Florida, in 1994.
Dick is survived by his wife, Lilo Dwinell, of 54 years; brother, Lew (Sandy) Dwinell, children Michele Dwinell, Rich (Lisa) Dwinell, and Janelle (Brian) Dickerson; three grandchildren Danielle Dickerson, Amanda Dwinell, and Kaela Dwinell and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
