Richard “Doc” Chamberlain, 82, of Beachwood, NJ, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Lakewood, NJ, he moved to Beachwood, NJ in 1978. Richard served in the US Navy for 4 years then retired from the US Air Force after 20 years of service. He was a Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.
He was predeceased by his wife Rosie. He is survived by his 4 children Richard Chamberlain of PA, Diana Neff of Derby, Kansas, David Chamberlain of Yardville, NJ and Norma Chamberlain of Beachwood, NJ, a sister Shirley of Philadelphia, PA, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 26, 2015 7-9pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.
