Richard H. “Dicky” Duckworth, Sr., age 65, of Grafton, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born November 30, 1946, a son of the late Leland H. Duckworth and Mary J. (Plymale) Duckworth. His first wife, Karen Sue (Shaw) Duckworth, preceded him in death. He is survived by his current wife, Sharon K. (James) Duckworth.
Dicky was retired from Packaging Corporation of America (PCA). He was an avid WVU and Steeler football fan, he enjoyed boating and spending time at Tygart Lake, and his camp at Wildcat Hollow. He was a social member of the VFW Post #3081, Grafton.
In addition to his wife he is survived by: one daughter Dina K. Richards and husband Timothy, of SC; one son, Richard H. “Dicky” Duckworth, Jr. and wife Kelly, of Grafton; five grandchildren, Caitlin Duckworth, Trajan Duckworth, Colby Criss, Logan Richards, and Nick Richards; one great grandson; one sister, Donna Duckworth Kuhn and husband Chuck, of Grafton; his father-in-law, Charles James, of Grafton; two step children, Josie Johnson and husband Michael, of Grafton; and Whitney Barlow, of Grafton; three step grandchildren, Jada Hope, Macy Love and Mya Grace Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
