Richard D. Clay, 66, of Grafton passed away October 27, 2022 after a long illness. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Kermit & Helen Clay. Richard leaves behind with much love and pride his son Robert Douglas Clay of Elyria, beloved sister and brother in law Mona & Greg Hayes, their two daughters nieces, Melissa Hayes and Kristine Ray , all of Jacksonville, Florida, a much loved uncle Gene Tolliver, cousin Keith Tolliver, cherished friend and ex wife Debra Roach of Elyria, his dearest friend Robert Waltz of Elyria and a host of car enthusiasts and friends from all over several states. Richard loved his family deeply and enjoyed the people who shard his common love of muscle cars. He was a big Elvis fan and Richard was a master of hysterical one liners, always delivered with perfect timing. His love of Christ was always with him. He will be missed by many who love him.
