Richard “Clayton” Elmore, age 18, a lifelong resident of Frankville, Alabama, was a much loved son, grandson, father, brother, and friend. Clayton was a joyful, hard working young man, who was full of life and mischief. Clayton was a graduate of the Leroy High School Class of 2015. He was in the LHS band and played the trombone 7th through 9th grade. Clayton was also a member of FFA and the LHS Golf Team.
He died on Monday, July 20, 2015. He is survived by Fiancée and Lights of his Life: Hannah Brooke Windham and their daughter Addelyn Marie Elmore, Parents: Richard Paul Elmore (Heather Williams), Kimberley Schultz (Henry) Eubanks, Brothers: Caleb Phillip Elmore, Conner McNae Elmore, Sister: Maegan Allene Eubanks; Grandparents: Willie Frank and Frances Elmore, Worth and Florence Schultz; Uncles: Troy (Tabitha) Elmore, Brittian Schultz; Aunts: Vicki Elmore Odom, Connie Elizabeth Schultz, and Amy (Danny)Moseley; Godfather Wesley Wynn; In-laws Larry and Dana Windham; Joseph Windham; cousins, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by Uncle: Phillip Gerard Elmore, Great- Grandparents: Benjamin Frank and Lina Mae Elmore, Elmer Allen and Claudia Leona Norton, Horace and Allene Ball, McNae Brittian and Minnie Ethel Schultz, Henry Nathan, Sr. and Mae Jeanette Eubanks.
He was an active member of Evergreen Baptist Church, participated in Civil War Re-enactments with the 38th Alabama Infantry, and he was training to be a First Responder/Firefighter with the Frankville Volunteer Fire Department.
