Richard Christensen, 90, formerly of Lohrville died Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Hilltop Care Center in Spirit Lake.Richard is survived by his wife Leatrice, sons Ronald (and wife Linda), Roger (and wife Laurie) and Russell, daughters Laverna Schmidt (and friend Mark), Lois Hawn (and husband Fred) and Laura Vogel (and husband Tim) and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law Lori Jean Christensen (wife of Russell, mother of Rachel) grandson Kevin Schmidt, two brothers and five sisters. Richard was born on August 17, 1923 at Rodman, Iowa to Jorgen and Emma (Davidsen) Christensen. He married Leatrice Guinn and was a farmer all his life.
