Prospect – Richard Chen, age 58, of Prospect died Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Waterbury Hospital in Waterbury, CT after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn his wife, Maria Dong-Chen. Mr. Chen was born December 20, 1956 in Taipei, Taiwan. He is a son of Loumae Chen of California and the late Tien Kai Chen.
Richard was self-employed and owned his own business, EASY MICRON INC., located in Waterbury. He worked very hard and enjoyed travelling.
Besides his wife and mother, Richard is survived by his daughter, Emily Chen of Washington and a sister, Barbara Ingalls of California. He was predeceased by a brother.
