He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during WWII and then went on to work as a real estate developer. Richard enjoyed boxing, tennis, working out and fitness.
Richard is survived by his devoted wife of 10 years, Lois Basciano; his beloved daughters, Claudia Basciano, Lisa Lombardi, and Lesley Roberts; his six cherished grandchildren and two loving great-grandchildren; and his dear siblings, Marietta Restivo and John Basciano. Richard was predeceased by his first wife of 56 years, Jean E. Basciano, and his sister, Lola Marsiglia.
